CUMMING– Neverland Aquatics hosted their annual pool party at the Cumming Aquatics Center to kick off the new year!
As a way of saying thank you to the friends and family of Neverland Aquatics, the organization throws a company wide pool party that is free of charge to any current and past swimmers. Kiddos came from all over North Georgia, with their families in tow, to hang out with their favorite instructors and spend a few hours at the pool.
For many students in the adapted swim program, their weekly or bi-weekly session is more than just for safety or exercise, it is also an escape. Swimming helps calm the mind and give swimmers something to look forward to. While their week may not have gone as planned, they know they can come to swim session and everything will be okay! The pool party is a way for those kids to get extra time in the water, because let’s be honest here. Each and every one of them deserves to have as much FUN as possible.

The fun isn’t over yet! In a few weeks the adapted swim company will be holding their bi-annual swim meet. This event is designed for students to show off the skills they have learned in their adapted sessions in front of friends and family.
