Neverland is starting a new initiative for 2018! Let the training begin!

As you know, we are Metro Atlanta’s adaptive swim program for children, teens, and adults with disabilities. We have had great success in the suburbs of Atlanta, from our humble beginnings of 1 instructor with a handful of students to serving over 500 students with disabilities in the Metro Atlanta Area. Now it is time for Neverland to give back to others around the country, by sharing our knowledge of how to grow a quality swim program for people with disabilities. This is our introduction to the program. Stay tuned for more to come!

Group Swimming Classes for Adults and Children with Disabilities

North Georgia Adapted Aquatics is now offering adapted swimming classes for children and adults with special needs! These classes are for students who already have some swimming skills and want to focus on learning proper form for all four strokes while improving fitness in the water.

**Class length is 45 minutes and will begin on Tuesday, October 8th. They will run for 10 weeks until December 17th excluding November 26th for Thanksgiving break.

**Just as with our other services, all classes are instructed by Kristie Snape, a former special educator fluent in adapting instruction to students with disabilities.

18 and under class:

Tuesdays at 5:00pm

19 and over class:

Tuesdays at 5:45pm

Required Prerequisite Skills:

•Independently swim a standard lap.
•Independently float on back (if your child cannot float, but can independently swim a lap, we can likely teach them to float in a single private lesson prior to the start of group classes).

Contact Kristie Snape with North Georgia Adapted Aquatics for more details and to register your child.
